And since his father was a Wine and Spirits merchant back home, embarking on a new venture of producing \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003equality Rum\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e was a natural next step. Today, Goslings Bermuda Rums are famous around the world.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGoslings Gold Seal Rum\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e was first released in 2016 — at the time it was \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethe first new Rum\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e from Goslings in more than one hundred years. It is blend of Rums from both\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003e pot-still \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eand \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003econtinuous column stills\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. And while there is no official age statement, the majority of the Spirits was aged for five years in \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eonce-used white oak casks\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. Originally, James Gosling would keep the Rum in casks. People would bring bottles to be filled. After each filling, James would dip the necks in black sealing wax.
